Creating homes and places where people want to live

Photography competition 2022

#Pullingtogether

Friendship and community spirit has kept us all going through some of the most difficult of times over the last couple of years - and we're looking for photos that capture that spirit in our great new photography competition!

You don’t need a fancy expensive camera to take a great photo - You can take fantastic pictures just using your phone. And there are no rules in terms of the kind of photos we’re looking for – anything goes! It could be family, friends, colleagues or neighbours enjoying each other’s company, photos showing community groups or volunteers, children playing in the garden or at the park, or anything else that’s special to you, represents where you live, and has helped you pull through.

We're running a training session that'll last about an hour, where you can learn more about taking great photos with your phone. It's free and it'll be fun! - book here

The winning photos will be entered into a national photography competition for housing organisations and their tenants, and there’ll be Amazon vouchers for the top three NCH photographs we shortlist.

How to enter

Photos must be of good enough quality to still look great when blown up to A3. Email your photos, along with a couple of lines about them, by Friday 25 February.

Please also include your contact details and tell us who took the photograph. We'll then come back to you to get signed permission to use the photo from anybody who’s in it.

Entries can only be accepted in electronic format - no hard copies.

We can’t wait to see your photos!
