The Met Office has issued weather warnings for this weekend (Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February), which may see an increase in the number of calls we receive.

Although not currently forecast to be as damaging as Storm Ciara, Storm Dennis is likely to bring very strong winds and rain during the weekend.

Over the weekend we'll be prioritising emergency repairs only. Non-emergency, routine repairs, can be reported online 24 hours a day by clicking the 'Report a repair' link at the top of this page, or Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5pm. To find out what repairs are classed as an emergency, click here.

If you do need to call, to report an emergency repair, please be patient. Although we are increasing our staffing over the weekend to deal with any increase in calls, it may still take longer than normal to answer. The weather and the ongoing situation with the repair works to the A52 Clifton Bridge, may also mean that it could take longer for our trade colleagues to get out to you.

There are also things that you can do to prepare for the weather to help minimise the risk of any damage to your home, including tidying away items that could be picked up by the wind and cause damage to your home (garden furniture / toys for example), keeping your bins as sheltered and out of the wind as possible and making sure gates, doors and windows are kept secure.

Please also look out for yourselves and friends and family and keep a check on the latest weather reports for the most up-to-date information.
