New face at NCH will help Build a Better Nottingham

1 August 2018

Nottingham City Homes has announced the appointment of its brand new Assistant Director of Development, Joanne Hill, who will lead the team building brand new affordable homes across the city.

Joanne will join the business in September from her current role at South Yorkshire Housing Association where she is responsible for developing strategies and plans for growing housing supply, including ensuring a development pipeline, as well as meeting high standards of design and environmental sustainability.

Joanne has over 28 years’ experience in the social housing sector and has a strong track record of securing and delivering new housing developments. She has spent many years delivering shared ownership and affordable rent properties for both general needs and older persons’ housing, including work on new build developments. Joanne has most recently been leading on the provision of a significant private rented development in the centre of Sheffield.

Director of Investment and Building Services at Nottingham City Homes, Jonathan Shaw, said: “I’m really looking forward to having Joanne on board, leading our development team, as we meet our corporate objective to build high quality, affordable new homes for local people. Her experience speaks for itself, and it’s this, combined with her drive and determination, that helped us in making our decision to appoint her to the role. I look forward to welcoming Joanne to the business in September, and wish her the best for her first few months with Nottingham City Homes.”

Joanne said: "I am delighted to be joining the team at NCH and to have the opportunity to lead on delivering such an ambitious programme of new homes for Nottingham."
