Government letter to social housing tenants

At NCH, we are supporting a return to normal services over time where it can be done safely for staff and residents alike. We will always use PPE where needed, and practice social distancing. Here are details of our key services for you. 

Maintenance and repairs 
We are continuing to prioritise emergency repairs – you can find out more hereWe're starting to look at how best to safely carry out routine as well as essential repairs. We are starting with external works and works to empty properties.

Gas safety checks
We have continued to carry out annual gas safety checks throughout the lockdown. There’s more information here.   

Building safety
Your safety is our number one priority, so it’s important that we keep all our buildings safe. We are continuing to carry out all necessary safety checks, wearing PPE as appropriate.  

Rent
We will always take a supportive approach to help people with their rent; no-one will lose their tenancy as a result of coronavirus. If you are struggling financially, please:  

Anti-social behaviour  
We will support you if you are suffering from anti-social behaviour. Please call us on 0115 746 9555 if you’re having problems.  

Support for victims of domestic abuse
