Creating homes and places where people want to live

Improving your home

We've already invested millions of pounds in bringing all Nottingham City Homes' up to the Government's Decent Homes standard.

Since 2010, we've:

  • installed over 14,500 bathrooms
  • fitted over 19,000 kitchens
  • fitted around 38,000 secure external doors
  • installed around 19,000 secure windows

This work continues across the city as we deliver our continuous planned maintenance programme. The programme includes things like fitting solar panels and insulating external walls, which not only make your home warmer, they also save you money on your bills. You can read more about this on our Carbon Neutral Nottingham page.

If we’re going to be carrying out work in your area, we’ll let you know, and we’ll provide you with contact details so you can get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

We’re happy for you to put your own mark on your home as long as you get permission from us first.  Email us or write to:
