Making an appeal

If you are unhappy about the type or amount of work we think brings your home up to the decent homes standard you can appeal against the decision.

You must first contact the Asset Management Team by phone, letter, e-mail or fax. Your concerns will be looked at and you will be visited again if we can't solve the problem initially.

After your property has been inspected again we will let you know our decision within two weeks.

If you are still unhappy, you can make an official complaint but it may take them two weeks to know our decision. Your complaint will then be referred to the appeals panel which meets once a month. When we have received your letter, we will write to you within 10 working days to let you know the date of the appeal.

We will then write to you again within 10 working days of the appeal outcome to tell you the final decision.
