Area Panels

Area panels give you the chance to have your say and make a difference to your area.

Area panels have been developed by Nottingham City Homes to match the nine area committees set up by Nottingham City Council.

Area panels increase the involvement of tenants and leaseholders at a local level so local people can make decisions about a number of services.

Get involved in your area now!

The panels are made up of between 12-15 tenants and leaseholders who meet every two months to discuss various issues such as performance, value for money and local issues. Housing managers are responsible for dealing with area panels as they go to both area committees and area panel meetings so information is passed between the two. Meetings are also attended by a representative from our property services section (mainly to discuss issues around repairs). Local ward councillors and the city council neighbourhood management team are also invited to attend.

We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join us!

Meetings are held in comfortable surroundings and food, refreshments, child care and travel expenses are provided. Don't miss out on an opportunity to have your say for your local community, or for tenants and leaseholders city-wide.
